Joe Howard, DDS, was born and raised in Oklahoma City, OK. He received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Central Oklahoma followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Oklahoma in 1999.

After dental school, Dr. Howard spent 20 years as a dentist in the Air Force stationed all over the world, including Korea, Italy, Germany, Oklahoma, Guam, Arkansas, Utah and finally retiring from Japan.

Dr. Howard chose Roseburg for the amazing weather, relaxed lifestyle and opportunity to work part time at Aviva Health, of course. He spends his free time with his wife Ivette and children Alexander and Alena going to their sporting events, snow skiing, traveling and his favorite activity-GOLF.
