Alison Hinson is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and endorsed as a Clinical Mental Health Mentor by the Oregon Infant Mental Health Association.
She earned an education Specialist degree, an administrator license through Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission, a graduate certificate in marriage and family therapy, a graduate certificate in infant and toddler mental health, and a master’s degree in Human Services Counseling.
She has worked in education and community mental health supporting youth with behavioral challenges and adults with mental health needs since 2002. She also provides specialty content trainings and individual and organizational support in developing endorsed professionals in the field of infant and toddler mental health, including providing case consultation and reflective supervision.
Additionally, Alison has worked with multiple universities and community colleges as an adjunct professor, project coordinator and student supervisor in education and family studies programs.
