Dr. Mariya Mohiuddin, a family medicine resident, was born and raised in Houston, Texas. From a young age, she knew she wanted to become a doctor and earned her medical degree from Windsor University School of Medicine in St. Kitts. Her special interests and practice goals include lifestyle medicine, sports medicine and international medicine. She also aspires to build a school for children with mental illness.

The strong sense of family drew Dr. Mohiuddin to the Roseburg Family Medicine Residency. The genuine, friendly and supportive atmosphere she experienced from the residents and faculty confirmed her decision to join the program.

She enjoys watching sports, going to the gym and doing Pilates. She also enjoys traveling, reading, listening to music, and learning about history and different cultures.
