Family medicine resident Dr. Navkiran “Kiran” Aujla was born in Palo Alto, California, and grew up in Everett, Washington. She earned a medical degree from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Mississippi.

The warmth from faculty and residents, the residency’s involvement with the Blue Zones Project (Thrive Umpqua) and Aviva Health’s supportive environment drew Dr. Aujla to the Roseburg Family Medicine Residency. She hopes to practice full-spectrum family medicine including deliveries, and her special interests include women’s health and addiction medicine in a rural setting.

Dr. Aujla looks forward to exploring southern Oregon’s natural beauty and attending the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland. She has a rescue cat and enjoys nature walks, gardening, photography, and interior design.
