Heather Stearman, MDFamily Medicine and Obstetrics

    Dr. Heather Stearman was awarded her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Loma Linda, CA, in 2008. She completed her family medicine residency and a rural family medicine fellowship with an emphasis in surgical obstetrics at Tacoma Family Medicine, Tacoma, WA.

    In addition to serving as a member of the Women’s and Reproductive Health Team, she is the interim program director and head of maternity care for the Roseburg Family Medicine Residency Program (RFMR). Before joining Aviva Health, Dr. Stearman supervised students, residents and fellows at James Center Primary Care, Tacoma, WA.

    In 2013, she became a certified instructor for Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics. With her abundance of knowledge and past faculty experiences, she is an incredible asset to RFMR.

    Dr. Stearman, her husband and their four children moved to Roseburg to be closer to family. Outside of clinic, Dr. Stearman’s hobbies include home remodeling, outdoor activities, camping, photography, cooking, gardening, and fine art.
