Dr. Amelia Roth is a board-certified developmental and behavioral pediatrician (DBP). She practiced as a general pediatrician for five years in inpatient and outpatient settings before completing a three-year DBP fellowship at the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Child Development and Rehabilitation Clinic in Eugene. She attended the University of South Carolina Honors College as a National Merit Scholar, then pursued her medical degree at the University of Southern California School of Medicine.
She realized her dream of moving to the West by training as a Pediatric Resident at OHSU’s Doernbecher Children’s Hospital from 2008 to 2011. During a rural rotation in Ontario, Oregon, she met her husband, John Roth, PA-C, also a medical provider at Aviva Health.
Dr. Roth enjoys working with families experiencing a variety of neurodiverse conditions, including, but not limited to, autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, genetic syndromes, complex ADHD, and Tourette syndrome.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, caring for their miniature hobby farm. She also loves outdoor adventures, traveling, and exploring cultural activities.
