John Roth, PA-C, is a board-certified physician associate with a focus in dermatology. He spent 14 years of his career in general pediatrics before transitioning to dermatology. He is a Roseburg native and is excited to be back in Douglas County.

John completed his medical training at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in 2008, earning a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the OHSU School of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate education at Oregon State University, graduating cum laude from the Honors College with degrees in Public Health and International Studies, and a minor in Spanish. He was a certified medical Spanish interpreter for over five years, traveling throughout Central America after having lived in Panama as a high school exchange student.

John has over 20 years of experience as a professional mobile DJ. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Amelia Roth, who is also a provider at Aviva Health, and their daughter. They own a small hobby farm with a fruit orchard, sheep, chickens, and rabbits. John has a passion for learning about other cultures and enjoys traveling, along with outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, hiking, and canoeing.
