Dr. Nayan Bhakta has been interested in medicine since high school, which led him to pursue a medical degree. He earned his degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poland.

The friendly, welcoming, and open-minded environment of Roseburg Family Medicine Residency drew him to the program. He looks forward to gaining experience during his residency, building professional relationships, and meeting new people.

He would like to become competent in various practices, with special interests in urgent care, holistic medicine, and lifestyle medicine.

Dr. Bhakta was born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Angleton, Texas. He enjoys reading sci-fi and fantasy, loves astronomy, and is an amateur astrophotographer. He also lifts weights and does calisthenics.
