Shannon began her dental career in 2006 as an expanded functions dental assistant. She returned to college to earn a degree in dental hygiene, graduating at the top of her class in 2017.

Shannon grew up in the Rogue Valley. She and her husband married on the Oregon coast in 2001, and they have two grown daughters. In her free time, Shannon enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and dogs.
