Nicole Stafford, CSWAClinical Social Work Associate

    Nicole Stafford, MSW, CSWA, is a clinical social work associate providing outpatient behavioral health services at Aviva Health in Roseburg, Oregon. She works with children, adolescents and adults, with a focus on anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, and behavioral concerns.

    Nicole brings a diverse background in behavioral health and social services, including experience as a child welfare caseworker, counselor in a state youth correctional setting, youth pastor, and caregiver and administrator for individuals with developmental disabilities. She has extensive experience supporting foster youth and individuals navigating complex life circumstances and is particularly passionate about working with children and adolescents.

    Her approach to therapy is client-centered and trauma-informed, emphasizing a collaborative and supportive environment. Nicole utilizes evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Aggression Replacement Training (ART), tailoring interventions to meet each patient’s individual needs.

    Nicole earned her bachelor’s degree from Northwest University and her Master of Social Work from Eastern Washington University while working with extended foster care youth.

    Outside of her clinical work, Nicole enjoys spending time outdoors, connecting with friends and family, caring for animals, gardening, fishing, and playing video games. Her Christian faith is an important part of her life, and she values authenticity, humor and meaningful connection in both her personal and professional relationships.
