Shannon Suhr received a degree in nursing from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in 2001 and gained experience in various areas, such as inpatient care, oncology, rheumatology, and a clinic in West Africa. Feeling a deeper calling, she returned to school to become a Family Nurse Practitioner, earning a Master of Nursing from OHSU in 2009. Since then, she has worked in communities across Oregon.
Shannon has lived in Oregon for most of her life. Raised in a small timber town outside of Salem, she enjoys living and working in Douglas County. She and her husband, Luke, moved to the area in 2012 and are actively involved in their church and community. She enjoys reading, camping, spending time with family, watching British mystery shows, and savoring a good cup of coffee.
