Sarah Agsten, DOAdjunct Faculty

Dr. Agsten earned her medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California in 1995, and completed her residency training at Eastmoreland Hospital in Portland, Oregon in 1998. She has been in a solo-private practice family medicine clinic in Roseburg since 2002, and will be teaming up with Roseburg Family Medicine Residency program as adjunct faculty. Dr. Agsten will serve as an excellent role model to our residents, especially for those interested in exploring what extraordinary primary care looks like in a solo-practice family medicine clinic.

Dr. Agsten has been teaching medical students and physician assistant students for over 12 years and is excited to begin teaching residents. She also served as a major in the US Army Reserve for eight years. Her osteopathic background, experience leading a private practice clinic and teaching experience allot her a unique set of skills and whole-body approach to treating her patients; a skillset she will surely pass onto her future residents. Outside of clinic, Dr. Agsten enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, running, and relaxing at her lake house near the beautiful Oregon coast.
