Dr. Pandit earned his medical degree from Tribhuvan University in Nepal in 2005, and completed his residency training at University of Missouri in 2010, followed by a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Saint Vincent Health System in Erie, Pennsylvania in 2011. Dr. Pandit will complete his Healthcare Masters of Business Administration at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon in 2019.
As a Sports Medicine physician at Umpqua Orthopedics, Dr. Pandit brings a vast knowledge of treating patients of all ages for concussion management, sports medicine issues, general orthopedics and fracture care. He also performs diagnostic MSK Sonography and Regenerative medicine including PRP and ultrasound guided carpal tunnel release (USCTR). At Umpqua Orthopedics, our residents will become skilled in evaluation, prevention, treatment and management of musculoskeletal diseases affecting patients of all ages and conditions of congenital, traumatic, and degenerative causes. As adjunct faculty, Dr. Pandit has a wealth of knowledge to share with our residents.
Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Pandit serves as the team physician for both Roseburg High School and Umpqua Community College, providing sideline care to the home team and guest teams at local games and play-offs. For fun, Dr. Pandit enjoys travelling, playing with his two boys and watching professional soccer.
