Rishi Saigal, MDCore Faculty

    Dr. Rishi Saigal earned his medical degree from the University of Debrecen, Medical and Health Science Centre in Hungary in 2013. He completed his Internal medicine residency training in 2018 at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania.

    Shortly thereafter, Dr. Saigal joined the hospitalist team at Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg. He has a special interest in providing cost-conscious medicine in the inpatient setting. In January 2020, he was appointed the Assistant Medical Director for Hospital Medicine at Mercy Medical Center.

    Dr. Saigal was most recently appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific.

    He joins the Roseburg Family Medicine Residency program as core faculty for the Adult Medicine Inpatient Service. Dr. Saigal has a passion for teaching and training the next generation of physicians and enjoys having both medical students and residents on the inpatient service.

    Outside of medicine, Dr. Saigal loves to travel and enjoys hiking, bicycling, playing tennis, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. He also plays the Tabla, a classical Indian instrument.
