Pavel is originally from the Russian Federation and earned his degree from Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry in 2015. He has prior experience in primary care settings in a rural area in Moscow and the state of Washington.
Spending time in his mother’s pediatric practice when he was a young boy inspired him to pursue a medical degree. He is excited to train as a full-spectrum family medicine physician, providing care for patients throughout their life stages. His medical interests include hospital medicine, urgent care, geriatrics, behavioral health, addiction medicine, and lifestyle medicine.
The supportive and friendly environment of the Roseburg Family Medicine Residency attracted him to the program. The curriculum, faculty, and staff further solidified his desire to join. He is excited to experience inpatient and outpatient settings and to make meaningful connections within the program and the community.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with family and friends and likes going to the circus and air shows.
