Mark HammDentist

Dr. Mark Hamm was born in Roseburg, the fourth of five kids. His family moved to Southern California where he grew up. Eventually the family moved back to Grants Pass.

After high school Mark attended the University of Oregon, and upon graduation he and his wife Debbie moved to Arizona. They both worked at the Bright Angel Lodge on the rim of the canyon.

In 1977 he enrolled at Oregon Health Sciences University, School of Dentistry. After Mark’s graduation, his family moved to Roseburg, buying the dental practice of Dr. Lee Lacey. In these years Debbie and Mark had three wonderful sons. Then 40 years suddenly went by. His oldest son, Dr. Nathan Hamm, has now taken over the dental practice, and Mark is transitioning to retirement working at both Aviva Health and their family practice.

In his free time, Mark babysits the grandkids, bird watches, looks for mushrooms, and hopes to travel when the pandemic is over.
