Dr. Jawairiya Rasool was born in Karachi, Pakistan. She has traveled the world but has lived in the United States most of her life. She earned her medical degree at Dow International Medical College in Pakistan and furthered her studies with a master’s in public health and business administration at Benedictine University in Illinois.
In high school, she realized she wanted to become a physician, following in the footsteps of her family of doctors. The focus on lifestyle medicine, other practice opportunities, and principles aligning with her own attracted her to the Roseburg Family Medicine Residency. She is also interested in preventative medicine, geriatrics, integrative health, and women’s health.
Dr. Rasool is married and has two cats. Excited to live in Oregon, she loves waterfalls and the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, gardening, reading, and watching movies or a good Korean drama. In her spare time, she sews, paints, and builds things.
