Dr. Hunter Hammersmith was born in Washington and graduated from Pacific Northwest University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Psychiatry and understanding the complexities of medical management of psychiatric illness sparked her career path.

The residency’s lifestyle medicine track and the opportunity to practice in a Blue Zones Project community adds to her excitement to join Roseburg Family Medicine Residency.

She enjoys outdoor activities such as swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, camping, and gardening. Additionally, she has a passion for dancing, having achieved the title of 2008 National Hip Hop dance team champion, with a second-place finish in Jazz.
