Heather Stearman, MDInterim Program Director

    Dr. Heather Stearman was awarded her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Loma Linda, CA, in 2008. She completed her family medicine residency and a rural family medicine fellowship with an emphasis in surgical obstetrics at Tacoma Family Medicine, Tacoma, WA.

    She joins the Roseburg Family Medicine Residency (RFMR) Program interim program director and head of maternity care. Before joining RFMR, Dr. Stearman supervised students, residents and fellows at James Center Primary Care, Tacoma, WA.

    In 2013, she became a certified instructor for Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics. With her abundance of knowledge and past faculty experiences, she is an incredible asset to RFMR.

    Dr. Stearman, her husband of 17 years and their four children moved to Roseburg to be closer to family. Outside of clinic, Dr. Stearman’s hobbies include home remodeling, outdoor activities, camping, photography, cooking, gardening, and fine art.
