Cherie Hinshaw earned her Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner (WHCNP) certificate from the University of California Los Angeles in 1987. Later, she attended Frontier Nursing University, where she became a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM).

Cherie has experience in neonatal intensive care and labor and delivery. During a role in administrative work, an OB/GYN recruited and encouraged her to pursue a WHCNP certification. She later relocated to Oregon where she earned her CNM.

Cherie has lived in Oregon for 22 years, including 18 years in Roseburg. She retired for a year before joining Aviva Health. In her free time, Cherie enjoys vegetable gardening. She has three daughters, three grandsons, and a Boxer.
