Dr. Daniel Dytz was born and raised in Brazil and earned his medical degree from Centro Universitário de Brasília (UniCEUB). His passion for medicine began at a young age, inspired by his aunt, an obstetrician who delivered him. As a teenager, he had the opportunity to observe childbirths alongside her, an experience that confirmed his desire to become a physician.
Before pursuing family medicine, Dr. Dytz gained experience working in emergency care settings, where he developed a deep appreciation for preventive medicine and continuity of care. His professional goal is to become the best physician he can be while serving communities and improving care for underserved populations.
Dr. Dytz chose the Roseburg Family Medicine Residency because of the warmth, enthusiasm and genuine belief the team demonstrated during the interview process. He looks forward to building meaningful relationships with patients, growing into a dependable colleague and experiencing life in a smaller community surrounded by Oregon’s natural beauty.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Dytz enjoys playing electric guitar, fitness, hiking, surfing, snowboarding, and music. A former competitive swimmer, he remains passionate about staying active and exploring the outdoors. He and his wife, who is also a physician, are excited to relocate to Douglas County and become part of the local community.
