340B Drug Pricing ProgramAviva Health participates in the 340B Drug Pricing Program, a government program that may help patients receive discounted prescription drugs. This program is available to insured and uninsured patients. Participation in the program is easy. Schedule a visit with a provider at Aviva Health, and when that provider writes you a prescription have it filled through one of our pharmacy partners located across Douglas County. If you are insured and your medications are covered by your policy, you will pay your copay as you usually do. Although your costs will not change, our health center will receive a financial benefit from your insurance company. This additional funding helps us provide care to the neediest families in our community. If your medications are not covered by your insurance or you are uninsured, this program may reduce the cost of your prescription by as much as 60%. You will need to pick up a 340B Cash Card from our reception staff during your visit and present it to the Aviva Health contracted pharmacy of your choosing. This card tells the pharmacy how to process the prescription so that you may receive the 340B cash pricing. Your drug card is for your use only. However, any patient who sees a provider at Aviva Health is eligible to participate in the program and may obtain their own card. If you are referred to a specialist by your Aviva Health provider, those prescriptions may be covered as well. Most drugs are available through this program, though there are a few exceptions.
