How do I apply for the ReConnect Fellowship?
APPLICATION DEADLINE – March 29, 2024
Most candidates enter the ReConnect Fellowship upon graduation from college. A typical timeline for a fellow would be to relocate to Roseburg in early summer after graduation and begin clinical work in June or July of their graduation year. Fellows commit to at least one year of participation in the ReConnect Fellowship and stay in the program until they are entering medical or physician assistant school. Some fellows choose take an additional gap-year and stay in the fellowship for a second year while applying and interviewing for medical school.
HOW TO APPLY
The application deadline for 2024 Fellows is March 29, 2024. Applications received after the deadline will be considered, but prioritized below applications submitted prior to the deadline. Applicants will be interviewed via Zoom in early April and selections will be made by April 15, 2024.
To apply for the ReConnect Fellowship, candidates need to complete the following:
- Complete the online application form
- Submit via email a cover letter stating their interest in the ReConnect Fellowship
- Submit via email an updated resume or curriculum vitae
- Submit via email two letters of recommendation – letters of recommendation may be submitted by the candidate, or may be submitted from the person writing the letter
