Jonathan Williams, MD

Dr. Jonathan Williams was born and raised in Grants Pass, Oregon. During his internship in a community health setting, he worked on social determinants of health and witnessed how physicians can significantly impact their communities as leaders. This experience inspired him to pursue a medical degree. He graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and is a National Health Service Corps scholar with a service commitment to medically underserved areas after residency.

The emphasis on lifestyle medicine, behavioral health, community leadership, supportive staff, and the opportunity to serve close to home in rural southern Oregon solidified his decision to join the Roseburg Family Medicine Residency. He aims to practice in clinic and hospital settings.

Dr. Williams enjoys fly fishing and is excited to be back in Oregon and live near the North Umpqua River. He also enjoys hiking, backpacking, playing soccer and tennis, drawing and painting. He and his wife grew up together in southern Oregon and have been married for three years.
