Aviva Health Stands Up Telehealth Services, Improving Access to Care for Douglas County Residents
Aviva Health is now offering telehealth visits to its patients across Douglas County, giving them vital access to care even when they can’t make it to the clinic.
In response to the COVID-19 emergency – an event that drastically reduced in-person clinic visits – Aviva Health partnered with Qure4U to offer a simple and easy telehealth solution, allowing the organization to take its clinical practice online to connect with patients where they are, ensuring they continue receiving the treatment and care they require to live healthy lives and manage chronic conditions.
Aviva Health patients of all ages can use telehealth services. Whether patients access Qure4U from their desktop, tablet or smartphone, the platform is intuitive and easy to navigate. Patients start the video call from their app or computer – there is no need to download new software.
“During this time of social distancing, telehealth services allow our patients to continue receiving the care they require without exposing them to the risk of mingling with individuals who are sick,” says Aviva Health Chief Operating Officer Edward Larsen. “Moving forward, we envision our telehealth services becoming a popular option for many of our patients, particularly those who are homebound or lack reliable transportation.”
Scheduling a telehealth visit is simple. Patients can request an appointment by visiting Aviva Health’s patient portal or calling (541) 672-9596. Whether it’s in-person or by telehealth, Aviva Health looks forward to serving its patients!
