Tiffany Danforth is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who works out of Aviva Health’s Roseburg Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic. Prior to joining Aviva Health, she worked as a mental health counselor, behavioral health consultant and drug and alcohol counselor with multiple tribal healthcare organizations.
In her practice, Tiffany enjoys working with a wide range of individuals and concerns, including anxiety, depression, anger, grief, complex trauma, perinatal mental health, relationship challenges, and life transitions. She has a particular interest in supporting individuals navigating trauma and significant life changes and is passionate about serving rural communities.
Tiffany utilizes a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach and is trained in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and brainspotting. Her approach is grounded in helping clients build safety, increase resilience and expand their window of tolerance, supporting improved emotional regulation, stronger relationships and greater insight into past experiences. She integrates mind-body awareness to help clients better understand the connection between thoughts, emotions and behaviors.
She is also a certified drug and alcohol counselor (CADC I) and a certified perinatal mental health specialist (PMH-C), with specialized training in supporting individuals during pregnancy, postpartum and with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, including birth trauma and pregnancy loss.
Tiffany is originally from the Lane County area and spent eight years in Alaska providing mental health and substance use services to rural communities. She received her BS from the University of Oregon and her MSW from the University of Southern California.
