A Great Place to Work
Salary
Starting July 1, 2024, annual salaries for residents are as follows:
PGY-1: $63,620 annually
PGY-2: $66,335 annually
PGY-3: $69,434 annually
Paid Personal Time Off
As Aviva Health employees, residents will receive 24 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year, which includes Aviva Health observed holidays. Residents who are rotating in departments or locations normally closed on designated holidays will automatically be scheduled off and utilize PTO for that day. This allows residents who are scheduled in the hospital or clinic on an Aviva Health observed holiday to utilize their PTO on an alternative day.
In addition to the 24 days of PTO (vacation, sick, personal days and holidays), our residents are provided with an additional 5 CME days to attend specialty sponsored society meetings and other conferences to present research or other scholarly work at national or international meetings, sit for exams (e.g., USMLE, board) or participate in other activities related to their educational program.
Resident wellness and work-life balance is important to RFMR, which is why we will make every effort to support our residents and encourage them to utilize their PTO. Our residents schedule three vacation weeks (15 PTO days) annually and the remainder days are set aside for sick time, personal day, medical appointments and holidays (only if scheduled off). Up to 40 hours of unused PTO can be rolled over annually.
Residents can access all Roseburg Family Medicine Residency Policies and Procedures via New Innovations. Aviva Health Policies and Procedures can all be found on the Aviva Health Intranet.
